AUSTRALIAN BEE RESEARCH ALLIANCE
Who we are
Connecting Australian Bee Researchers
The Australian Bee Research Alliance is a cooperative of recreational and commercial beekeepers, researchers and organisations who wish to collaborate and share projects and information about European Honeybees in Australia. European Honeybees are an essential contributor to the success of Australia's agriculture sector. For example, most fruits, nuts and many of the vegetables grown for human consumption depend on honeybees for pollination. We aim to understand the role of European Honeybees in the Australian ecosystem, how they interact with Australian fauna and flora and and how to enhance the value of the pollination services they provide.
